    A POET'S DREAM

    I Want To Help
    Feed Heart and Soul
    For what I don't have
    I hope
I Can Give what I do

    A POET'S DREAM
    To lets You Feel
    Heart and Soul

    Making You Feel
    Life is Swell

    Even
if it is Hard Too Tell

    Letting You Reach
    Beyond Yourself

    Finding
    There is More To See

    Letting
    You Know
    The Pain You Bear

    Is Carried by You

    Unless
    You want to
    Share IT with God

    Carry Him with Love

    Letting
    You Know
    There is Soul in You

    Needing
    To Find its Heart

    To Awaken
    All that is Asleep

    With All
    You Brought to Bear

    To Face
    All Things
    To Look Within

    Sharing  with God

    Letting
    You Know
    When Both are Fed

    When
    Heart Has Come
    To Soul

    Drank
    the Tears of Life

    The Waters
    Of My Soul

    That Fills
    My Heart with God.

    A Poeatreeman

    I Cannot Feed
    Your Heart and Soul
    Unless
    You Take My Words
    in Heart.

    A Little Tear
    Will Make it Go Down
    I Hope
it is Not Hard to Swallow.

    GIVING US BLESSINGS
    EACH DAY SHE IS HERE.

    THE JEWEL OF A TEAR

    No Diamond
    Can cut it
    .

    Nor Shine
    against
    Its Brilliance
    .

    Nor Polish it
    To reflect
    Its Beauty
    .

    Only a Heart
    Can hold
    This Jewel
    .

    Only Care,
    Can keep it
    From Decay..

    It is more
    Precious,
    Than Gold

    Purer than,
    The purest Jewels
    .

    One Tear Drop
    is worth,
    A million Hearts
    .

    Cannot be bought
    or measured..

    One Drop
    Can Hold
    A Lifetime of wealth
    .

    For when it Falls
    It Shows it all

    It's Clear to see
    and reflects
    Its Heart
    .

    Its Facet
    is more Brilliant
    Than Diamonds..

    The Heart
    will Crack it open

    To show all its jewels..

    A THOUGHT!

    One Chest
    To hold
    A wealth of Life

    A Tear in a Heart.

    One Chest
    To hold
    A Heart for Life

    A Tear
    That carried
    Care to Love.

    One Chest
    To Treasure all your Life

    A Tear,
    I gave to God..

    HUMANITIES A COURSE FOR LIFE

    I have
    a course in life

    I
    am trying
    to be human

    With
    all the others
    in this world

    I
    am trying
    to be
    the best I can

    My grades
    will be
    each day
    I am here

    I
    am
    not better
    just trying
    to be good

    I
    am
    not
    in any class
    for I see
    only one world

    Grant
    you there
    are poor and rich

    Better
    off does not
    make you better

    There
    are some
    who find
    greatness
    being poor

    There
    are others
    who are rich

    Find
    they are
    burdened
    by it all

    I
    am best
    when
    I am human

    I
    am even
    better
    when
    I help
    my fellow man

    If
    I was born
    with a silver spoon

    It
    does not
    mean
    my plate is full

    If
    I was not!

    Does
    not mean
    I have
    an empty one

    For heart
    and spirit
    need both be full

    If
    I am poor
    if I am rich

    It matters
    only
    if I lose
    my soul

    For
    in the end
    it will not
    be money

    That
    will bring
    you to heaven

    But
    a heart of gold

    Love
    knows no rich or poor

    It touches
    all who seek it

    Only man
    puts it in a class

    Poor little boy!

    A THOUGHT!

    If my spirit is rich
I have no need for gold

    If my pockets are full
    my heart is empty

    What is my soul?

    DEDICATED TO HUMANITY

    A Poeatreeman

    The measure of a man
    Is not
    If his pockets are filled

    But his heart
    Has riches beyond gold

    For what if a man
    Has no heart

    Where
    Could he place
    His greatest treasure?

    He cannot
For he does not hold it .

    WORRY

    One creates
    what is not there

    By worrying
    what will happen

    One sees it all
    for they
    made it happen

    I brought
    it home with me

    I gave it birth,
    named it worry

    How
am I to face him now

    I can't find him
    a thing to wear

    What
    will worrying do now?

    Can't
    fit him into life

    If
    I have to worry
    about the wear

    Can't
    change what is not there.

    A THOUGHT!

    I changed a diaper
    because it was there

    I changed nothing
    each time I worried

    I changed worrying

    When
    I let wisdom
    show me how.

    Written For Ronald

    A Poeatreeman

    When
    I know all I can't

    I'll
    know what I can

    When I know
    what I can change

    I'll
    know all I can't

    When
    I have wisdom

    it will not
    change a thing

    For
all is what it should be

    I will learn to change.

    THE WELL OF LIFE

    How Deep
    Life Takes me in

    When I Search,
    For What is Within

    Each Day
    Takes me
    Deeper in

    I Find

    I Have
    Only Scratched
    The Surface

    Where
    Do I Begin,

    To Find
    The Center
    That Lies Within?

    How Deep
    my Thoughts,

    When
    I Think of How
    Far I Need To go

    The Depths
    of Knowledge,

    Will
    Take me Where?

    Into Wisdom
    To Search
    Life's Meanings

    How Far
    Will I go,

    To The Depth
    of my Soul

    To Reach
    For Meaning?

    Will my
    Conscience Awaken,

    To See
    Life's Wrongs

    Or Lie
    Dormant
    not To be
    Awakened?

    Then How Deep
    is my Life's Meaning

    If it is Shallow
    Having Little Depth

    To Reflect
    Its Meaning?

    A Poeatreeman

    A Tear Falls
    and Reflects
    its Meaning

    Shall I not Follow,
    and Let it Reach
    my Soul?

    Then
    I Would Give
    Meaning
    To my Soul

    For Life
    Without Depth

    Will Surface
    Above The Depths

    Showing
    Nothing

    For I Never
    Searched
    Life's Quest

    Reflecting
    Nothing

    A Puddle
    To my Soul,
    Shallow and Empty

    How Clear
    it is
    To See its Soul.

    A Poet's Note

    Some People
    Lie on The Surface

    Some
    People Dig in

    Others

    To Find
    Their Soul Within.

    CRITERIA FOR HUMANS

    He is human not
    always humane

    He has feelings
    not always there

    He is as ice
    when hurt
    comes out

    He
    does not
    always share

    Or even
    show he cares

    He is a dreamer

    For dreams
    are his way
    through life

    He
    has fought himself

    Battled
    against the odds

    His companion
    is ignorance

    Hate
    and disease

    His opponent
    is himself

    His strength
    is what stands him up

    His weakness
    tears him down

    His wisdom
    is but a question

    His spirit
    can hold the Heavens

    His Fate
    man awaits to what?

    All  he has left unsaid

    All he let pass by

    All the end
    is only beginning

    For start did not start

    When man had begun

    It started
    with the fall of man

    The first to fall
    was love

    Hate
    stood up had its say

    Care went
    the way of indifference

    There is no love
    to hold me in

    Sorrow said
    I am here to stay

    Tears said
    I'll come your way

    Care's not there
    to pick me up

    Lonely said
    I am empty with hurt

    I wish
    I could feel the ache

    You have to
have heart to feel it all

    Why would they
    want to lose it all?

    I'll ask them
    when they take me in

    God is this
what it is to be human?

    You made me.

    love was then

    Where is it now ?

    When I need faith
    to take hold?

    Where is your belief
    I did not let go.

    Where is thy heart
